Character Monologue
directed to Andy.

No, Andy. Don't doubt it, things will work out, and we'll be richer! That's our dream, right? Getting the best we can. You know how much we've lost just because of that stupid economic crisis! And it's such a big amount ... goodness, I haven't been so desperate before. I want a good life, dear. I want to be the best. Yeah with you, of course. But before that we have to work hard and do things right. No, Rebecca will never find out we're in cahoots. She thinks I'm with Terrence. Nobody knows of our marriage last year anyway! It was only exclusive to our immediate family members, remember? (-sigh-) Our parents didn't have to force us into marriage, you know ... we not even that in love with each other! Yes, darling. I'm not a fan of children as well. (-disgusted expression-) See how Terrence's daughters annoy everyone at work? Being so noisy and everything ... gosh. Now don't you worry a bit, Andy. Terrence isn't my type of guy. It's just all part of the plan isn't it! I won't fall for him, really. Oh no, that stupid headache is back again. I really hope this plan of yours is worth it, dear. Thank goodness i was in Drama Club all my student years (-smiles-), haha. (-satisfied sigh-) Those student years ... thank goodness I'm the only child in my family. You have no idea how big competition is these days ... I've always had everything i wanted since i was a baby. I wouldn't want to lose anything now, Andy. We've got to keep getting all we can, yeah? We've got to everything in our own hands.
