WHERE: Melissa's and Andy's shared bedroom, in their house

WHO: Melissa and Andy

WHAT: Melissa gradually becomes slightly 'pyscho' (loses her mind), and packs up to leave Andy. Stuffing her clothes, jewellery and other belongings from her wardrobe into a trunk, she talks to Andy in an unusually unstable tone, very much unsteady from her actions and speech. Shemutters to Andy about getting her father's inheritance and how Andy has been a jerk. She also dreams about what she can get and achieve without him. Even as Andy tries to stop her, she is ignorant and leaves the stage hurriedly with unsteady footsteps, eventually falling onto the floor in tears.

Duologue:

(Melissa rushes into the room, Andy only walks in solemnly)

Melissa: It's all gone, Andy... (walks around in circles, playing with fingers) it's all gone.

Andy: Mel, I'll get it back for sure. I'll get everything back. I swear I --

Melissa: (starts to shake) you said things would work out, Andy. I tried... (bites nails) you don't know how much I've --

Andy: Mel, get a hold of yourself, please. Don't make it harder than it already is.

Melissa: Harder? (chuckles) I'm making it harder? Andy, I was the one out there, grabbing what i could, doing all I had to... now I'm at fault? Boy you've got this all wrong, Andy! (walks up to Andy) After all I've done for you, why are you blaming me? (see eye to eye) (Andy tries to avoid Melissa's glare) So I'm in the wrong huh... (walks towards closet, takes out empty luggages)

Andy: (realizes what Melissa is doing) No, no... Mel. That's not what i meant, I -- (tries to go forward to stop her)

Melissa: (pushes Andy away) (chuckles) Because of you Andy, I've become -- (starts to take clothes from wardrobe and put into luggage) --rubbish. I've lost it all, Andy! BECAUSE OF YOU.

Andy: Oh please Mel --

Mel: (laughs) It's stupid how competition drives us so far these days. (serious tone) I want my life back, and you can't stop me. You promised we'd succeed, Andy. Now this... (continues packing) I'm going to get back EVERYTHING I've lost, Andy. Everything... (laugh) that I've lost, because of (slams luggage shut) YOU.

Andy: MEL! You can't leave --

Melissa: Daddy's in America now, remember the inheritance I'd be getting? All that money... (laugh) I'd lead a great life, Andy. I should've known better than to marry you. (starts to pull luggage along)

Andy: (grabs Melissa) You CAN'T leave. I'm your husband, and you're all I have now.

Melissa: You never said that to me... (laughs loudly) you NEVER did! Only now, when you want me as a bait again, huh? No, Andy. you're not worth it, and i am going to leave you (shrugs Andy's hands off) I'll get what i deserve. (chuckles) I'll be rich again... rich (chuckles)

Andy: MEL!

Melissa: Hahaha... (turns from laughing to breaking down and pulls the luggage with her till she falls to the ground in tears)
